Welcome to
Trust In Dog
If you’re here, chances are you love your dog, and you’re looking for ways to help resolve some issues that you may be facing. it could be that your dog is barking, digging up the garden or just being over-excited.

About
My name is Delina. I’m a professional behaviourist and founder of Trust in Dog.
For over twenty years my life has been dedicated to the care and wellbeing of dogs, to understanding what they need, how they behave the way they do, and why.

What is a Reset Day?
A Reset Day is a full, calm, structured day at a designated welcoming village hall where we slow everything down and start again from the ground up.
We will work together on the behaviours that have been building, and the solutions best suited for each. Bring excitement down, controlling emotions and help find you some control.
Hopefully by the end of the day, you’ll have a much clearer understanding of what your dog has been trying to tell you, and some skills to move on with confidence.
How Does It Work
Before you attend, I’ll send you a simple pre-homework video to watch. It will get you started on the right track and help the day flow more smoothly. It also saves you money, because you will have some practical steps in place before we even begin.
You’ll be with a small group of other survivors, who’ve also been dragged, bounced, and driven slightly mad by their dogs. all in the same boat asking for help.
On the day itself, we will work together on the behaviours that have been building and the solutions best suited for each. Bring excitement down, controlling emotions and help find you some control.

Is a Reset Day Right for Your Dog?
Reset Days are designed for dogs who are:
- reactive, over-aroused, excitable, or under pressure
- able to work alongside their owner
- able to learn once the environment is calm
- safe to handle with reasonable precautions
Reset Days are NOT suitable for dogs who are:
- too fearful or shut down to engage
- dangerously unpredictable
- unable to settle even at home
- dealing with severe trauma or clinical anxiety
If I feel your dog won’t benefit or may become overwhelmed, I’ll always discuss this honestly and offer an alternative plan.
My priority is your dog’s welfare — and setting you both up for success.
Where to find us
All reset days are held at a designated hall at Llanymynech Village Hall on the Shropshire/Welsh border.
A perfect place, calm and welcoming with plenty of room so that all dogs and owners have room to manoeuvre. If you’re travelling from further afield, you won’t be the first (or the last), so make a trip of it. You won’t be disappointed. There are some genuinely beautiful places to stay nearby. Mid Wales has some spectacular scenery, lakes and forests not to be missed, where you can actually breathe out for a change, and lots are dog friendly.
Please Note: I don’t provide accommodation myself, but I’m more than happy to point you in the right direction, there are lots of local, dog-friendly Airbnb’s and parks in the area.
So, why not? Take a break, relax, have a good sleep and feel refreshed upon waking to make the experience something to remember.
