I’ve been struggling with Rwbi for a while. Walking her has been the biggest issue as she’s so absorbed with sniffing, that she pulls me along the pavement, and my hips are not in the best condition. By accident, my husband was out with Rwbi at the park and noticed Delina training her dog. So he went over and asked if she could help us out.
We had already seen another trainer, but that hadn’t worked out. Delina came over and spent some time at our home explaining a few things and showed us how to walk Rwbi correctly.
I realised that once was not enough and there were other issues that needed addressing. Delina helped us to understand that it wasn’t just about the walk, but it was also her behaviour inside the house and getting out of the house for a walk.
There’s so much more to it than we realised, and so with her help we are slowly getting to the bottom of these problems. Rwbi seems to be responding well. She’s listening, and I have been shown that to gain respect from Rwbi, I have to mean what I say and follow through. Every time.
So thanks Delina, a chance meeting has turned out to be a great decision.
