Excitability & Silliness Reset Day

One day to help your dog settle, think, and cope in the real world.

Some dogs are simply too much — too excited, too silly, too fizzy, too “go-go-go”… and you end up feeling overwhelmed, embarrassed, or worn out.

This Reset Day is for lovely dogs who are full of heart… and full-on:

  • Dogs who get wound up quickly
  • Struggle to settle
  • Lose focus the moment excitement rises
  • Pull like a train because the world is so exciting
  • Mean well, but make life tiring

And it’s for owners who want things to feel calmer, clearer, and more manageable.

This isn’t a standard “training class.”

It’s a calm, structured day for you and your dog to get some breathing space, education, and a proper reset.

What This Day Is About

We focus on arousal, excitement and brain-state, not just “obedience”:

You’ll learn:

  • Why your dog behaves the way they do
  • When things start to build long before they “kick off”
  • What your dog is experiencing in their head and body
  • How your timing, presence and patterns influence everything

This is dog psychology in plain English, plus practical skills you can actually use in real life.
No jargon, no pressure — just clear, honest help.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

  • A calmer, easier-to-handle dog
  • A clearer understanding of what’s really going on
  • More confidence in tricky moments
  • Better timing and awareness
  • Simple, realistic skills and a take-home guide you can stick to

How the Day Runs

We keep the group small so there’s space, calmness and proper support.

For the dog, we work on:

  • Reducing arousal
  • Settling in a new environment
  • Walking more steadily
  • Preventing small moments from snowballing
  • Using sniff work to clear and steady the brain

For you as the owner, you’ll learn how to:

  • Adjust your timing
  • Use quieter, clearer body language
  • Reduce accidental excitement
  • Spot early signs before things build
  • Change patterns your dog already knows
  • Stay calmer and more consistent yourself

Your dog already knows your habits, energy, timing, and tells.

This Reset Day helps you break unhelpful patterns and replace them with something steadier.
